A by no means comprehensive list of horror anthologies, listed by title in English alphabetical order.
Anata no Kyoufu Taiken ("Your Terror Experiences"), Jitsuwa Kyoufu Taiken ("True Stories: Terror Experiences"), etc., are more examples of true horror comics.

| Shin Mimibukuro was originally a Media Factory book series by Hirokatsu Kihara (木原浩勝) and Ichirou Nakayama (中山市朗), though it is better known to Americans as a movie and a video game. It has also been adapted into these comic anthology series containing select pieces from the books, drawn by such artists as Kyoko Ariyoshi (有吉京子), Kanako Inuki (犬木加奈子), Junji Ito (伊藤潤二), Hiroko Kazama (風間宏子), Takakazu Nagakubo (永久保貴一), Jun Nishikawa (西川ジュン), Mitsuki O-sawa (大沢美月), Kayono Saeki (佐伯かよの), Nanaeko Sasaya (ささやななえこ), and Satosumi Takaguchi (高口里純). Notably, the fourth volume of the second series appears to be made up entirely of pieces drawn by Junji Ito (伊藤潤二). | |||||||||||||||
