Takeo Iba is an alternate pen name of Leeza Sei, a former member of
CLAMP. Having only read the first volume of
Gilgulim, I’m not in a position to give a proper review of Iba’s work. But given my extremely low opinion of
CLAMP, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully continuing experience as a solo artist also continued to improve her work.

Other Works
Iba’s most well known title is the ladies’ comic Combination 1-6, begun while she was still associated with CLAMP and continued independantly under the name Leeza Sei. The series and its associated art book Combination F(A/U)N Book were published by Kobunsha (光文社). Combination has been rereleased in three volumes by Shogakukan (小学館) under Judy Comics.
Leeza Sei has also contributed to the "boys’ love" anthology Generous, put out by Ohtoh Shobo (桜桃書房) under Gust Comics.
