Okimoto’s first name is sometimes listed as "Hideko" in Akita Shoten’s author database, as well as other sources.  It is, however, listed as "Shuuko" in at least one issue of Susperia Mystery, and appears to be romanized as "Syuuko" on the cover of the Susperia Mystery Comic listed below, which is why this last transliteration is used here.
