His name seems to be written differently every time it appears in English, however, Shinshu Ueda is the version listed on the Asuka releases and is therefore the one used for this site.

Ueda started in ladies comics. Several pieces appeared in Ohtoh Shobo (桜桃書房)s anthology series Generous, and the series Karakuri Benimaru Oboro Henge (からくり紅丸朧変化) was published in two volumes of Animage Chara Comics by Tokuma Shoten (徳間書店). He also released Dawn: Tsumetai Te (DAWN 冷たい手) 1-6 and 彩の神 (Aya no Kami) 1-2 through Ichijinsha (一迅社), formerly Issaisha (一賽舎), under Zero-Sum Comics.
However, he primarily writes boys comics, under Square Enix (スクウェア・ エニックス)s G Fantasy Comics:
- Majin Tensei: The True Remembrance (魔神転生 THE TRUE REMEMBRANCE) 1-5
- Megami Ibunroku Persona: Be Your True Mind (女神異聞録ペルソナ BE YOUR TRUE MIND) 1-8

Next was Yuuji Okano (丘野ゆうじ)s Kochira Elf Tanteisha (こちらエルフ探偵社) series: Kochira Elf Tanteisha (こちらエルフ探偵社), Ayashiki Yoru no Bidou (妖しき夜の美童), and Akuma no Hanayome (悪魔の花嫁), published by Shueisha (集英社) under Super Fantasy Bunko (スーパーファンタジー文庫). And Ueda also did the art for Noel Ioka (五百香ノエル)s Tsumibukaku Kiyoki Sange (罪深く潔き懺悔), published by Shinshokan (新書館) under Dear Plus Bunko (ディアプラス文庫).
