Kasai did the art for the ladies’ comic Tengu Onmyoudou (天狗陰陽道), written by Kinuko Kuwahata (桑畑絹子) and released by Libre Publishing (リブレ出版) under Zero Comics. She also wrote and illustrated the gag comic Otoko no Hanamichi (オトコの花道), published by Takeshobo (竹書房) under Bamboo Comics Reijin Selection (バンブー・ コミックス 麗人セレクション).
She has illustrated a large number of books. The Reikan Tantei Club (霊感探偵倶楽部) series, the Shin Reikan Tantei Club (新・ 霊感探偵倶楽部) series, the other Shin Reikan Tantei Club (真・ 霊感探偵倶楽部) series, and the Anezaki Tantei Jimusho (姉崎探偵事務所) series were all written by Kazumi Nitta (新田一実) and published under Kodansha (講談社)’s X Bunko White Heart (Ｘ文庫ホワイトハート).

She has had three artbooks released: Tsukiyoe (月夜絵), published by Koufuusha Shuppan* (光風社出版); Yume Misashanse (夢みさしゃんせ), published by Keibunsha (勁文社); and Kofujien (戀字宴), published by Bijutsu Shuppan (美術出版社).
